Future Farming – AIS Greenworks PCA Conference 2015

In July next year, you can join world leaders in hydroponic and greenhouse growing from around the world, as well as allied trade and industry leaders.  The conference will be held at the Jupiter’s Casino and Convention Centre on the Gold Coast, in Queensland, from 5th to 8th of July, 2015.

You will hear, from experts from Australia, New Zealand, The Netherlands and elsewhere, about the latest technical developments, best practice, climate control, cop maintenance and manipulation, cultural practices, disease and pest management strategies, new and niche crops, compliance with regulatory bodies, energy and water efficiency, nutrients and chemicals marketing and much, much more.

If you are serious about greenhouse and hydroponic production, or wanting to join this progressive industry and learn, you can’t afford to miss this conference.

The conference theme is “Future Farming”, and people from around the globe will be presenting, discussing and unveiling the latest trends and innovation in the science of soilless cultivation, and aquaponics.

On the final day there will be farm visits to some of the region’s best and most advanced growing operations.

For the first time, the AIS Greenworks Protected Cropping Australia Conference will address five streams of interest: vine crops (such as tomatoes, cucumbers, egg-plants and capsicums; leafy greens like kale, lettuce, herbs and Asian vegetables; flowers like roses, gerberas, lilies and lisianthus; aquaponics; and brand new in 2015, berry crops like strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, and blueberries.

Another first is the PCA will also host the International Convention and Exhibition of Soilless Culture  (ICESC) 2015 on Hydroponics and Aquaponics at the same venue, and at the same time, bringing together researchers and research users

International Convention & Exhibition for Soilless Cultivation

PCA Director Graeme Smith is the ICESC event Chairman is working hard behind the scenes bringing together researchers with growers. That is, knowledge makers with knowledge users.

The International Society of Horticultural Science (ISHS) is the parent company of the International Convention & Exhibition for Soilless Culture (ICESC) and the International Horticulture Congress (IHC).

For 150 years, since 1864 in Brussels, the ISHS has been hosting scientific world forums.

At the ICESC and IHC events academic researchers present and publish their work in all aspects of horticulture & horticultural science.

PCA & ICESC 2015 conferences will run side by side at Jupiter’s with distinct delegate lecture programs and banquets. Everyone will mingle in the extensive Trade Exhibition and Poster Display, Farm Tours and Welcome Drinks.
