HFF Conference 2016 — The Next Step – Featuring PCA AGM 8/6/16 6 pm
Lorne, Victoria June 8 – 10 2016
This year’s 10th biennial Hydroponic Farmers Federation (HFF) Conference at the Mantra, Lorne, takes our formula to a new level promising to be the best event we have ever organised.
The conference theme is ‘The Next Step’ and the content is designed to help the grower take ‘the next step’ in developing their horticultural business.
Whether you are just entering the industry, or running a high tech farm, this conference will have something for you.
For the first time we have a naming rights sponsor, Powerplants Australia who are a long standing HFF supporter.
The Powerplants team have also assisted the HFF committee with the event’s organisation and widening the scope and appeal of the event.
NEW FORMAT + PRICING
The conference format has been changed to improve the general grower experience with Day Two split between morning speakers and afternoon site visits to Boomaroo, Thong Trihn and a surprise location.
Day One will feature nationally and internationally recognised speakers all day and Welcome Cocktails after the PCA AGM in the evening.
Day Two will have more speakers in the morning, farm visits in the afternoon followed by the Banquet in the evening with Awards.
Day Three has more speakers and trade exhibition, all wrapping up at 3.30 pm.
The speaker list has been carefully developed to compliment the ‘Next Step’ conference theme and highlights are listed in the advert on top left corner of this page.
Probably the biggest change to this year’s event is that registration is free for paid up HFF members, with the intention to really give something back to our grower members.
This offer is available to one person per farm.
HFF grower membership is available for $112 pa at
An extensive trade display will be the hub of business and networking next door to the speaker presentations.
Another new feature this year is that each exhibitor has five free registrations (including free HFF membership) for any of their grower customers.
The outcome will be extra grower delegates attending the conference as well as more members for HFF, which benefits everyone.
Catering is served in the exhibition hall to fuel the big negotiations.
A few trade booths are still available by contacting Steve Robin at ASN firstname.lastname@example.org or 0414 606 341.
HYDROPONIC PRODUCE DISPLAY
Our industry will be further showcased at the Mantra Lorne with a huge display of hydroponic produce in the foyer.
Make sure you don’t miss all these attractions and opportunities – so mark your calendars and I will see you there!
